The Brain Sucker has been previously released in New Zealand, Australia and the UK but this is the US and Canadian launch. Callum, his grandmother Rose, his friends Sophie and Jinx and the evil demented scientist Lester Smythe are heading to the US – and are ready to meet you!
About The Brain Sucker –
Callum McCullock has the coolest wheelchair you could hope for. The Thunderkit X5 All-Terrain has a 5-wheel set up, nitrogen gas shock absorbers and a retractable wheel design for uphill and downhill work. And it looks cool. Callum was born with a spine defect, but he’s is no victim. In fact, he’s so fiercely independent, both his best friends, engineering whiz kid Sophie and the permanently bad-luck-challenged Jinx Patterson, know better than to try and do things for him. As a result he has fantastic upper body strength, something which comes in useful as the story unfolds.
Callum lives with his fabulous grandmother Rose, whose custody of Callum is being questioned. But the Welfare Department is not the only threat to their future together. Lester Smythe is on the loose, armed with a brain-sucking device that extracts the green blobs of goodness from his victim’s heads. All Lester has to do is find a way of destroying all these lovely green blobs and he will turn everyone in the world into as evil a person as himself. And it’s up to Callum, Sophie and Jinx to stop him before it’s too late.
