The Hutchinson Report Town Hall of the Air on Saturdays, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Pacific (3:00 PM – 4:00 Eastern) on KPFK 90.7 FM Los Angeles and streamed globally via www.kpfk.org, on Thursday, January 19 announced the launch of “Classical Connections.” This will be a new weekly segment that features classical music selections, announcements of classical music performances and concerts. It will also feature mini-interviews with those sponsoring, promoting, and playing in the concerts discussing upcoming concerts, the artists and the music live, on air.

This is an exciting unique effort to provide another on-air venue in Southern California for classical music listeners to stay up on the latest events, developments and news in and on the classical music scene in Southern California. This is an innovative blend of classical music and news and interviews with those in the classical musical community on a popular and established public affairs and public issues talk show.

“This is especially important given the continued disappearance of radio stations and programs,” says Hutchinson Report Host Earl Ofari Hutchinson. “That spotlight classical music in Southern California and the nation.”
